The kidnapping case that happened to Shani Louk in Israel received a lot of attention. The tourist who was kidnapped and stripped yesterday is said to be still alive.

Footage of Shani Louk being kidnapped and stripped naked went viral on social media. Several international media said Shani had died, because he was seen motionless in the video.

Reporting from Unilad on Wednesday (11/10), Ricarda Louk, Shani's mother, provided the latest information. He claims that Shani is still alive.

"We now have proof that Shani is alive but has a serious head injury and is in critical condition. Every minute counts," he said.

Before being kidnapped, Shani and other tourists were recorded enjoying the Supernova Festival which was taking place in Israel. Shani is one of the many victims of kidnapping by Hamas soldiers.

From the video circulating, Shani was stripped naked and paraded around the Gaza border. He was spat at by a group of people while he was unconscious.

In an interview with German officials on local TV, Ricarda asked for help for her daughter.

"You have to act quickly to get Shani out of the Gaza Strip," he said.
